George E. Hanson

Hanson George E., age 55, of Minneapolis, died unexpectedly May 27, 2002. George was a deeply caring and loving husband to his wife of 27 years, Rochelle Quast. He had a love of nature, working in their yard, and the wilds of their farm on the lake. He was a thoughtful and caring brother to Molly. He loved to mug and make his sister laugh. George had a love of community and was a visionary and leader in his neighborhood planning. He loved the arts, architecture and design. He could build or fix just about anything. As a young student, he produced records that launched the careers of several well known artists. He moved on to a career with Northwest Airlines for 34 years and was known for his technical expertise. He was preceded in death by parents, George Sr. and Alfra Hanson of Faribault, MN. He will be greatly missed by his family, nieces and nephews, friends and colleagues.
