Arvilla A. Trenary, 87, of Aitkin, formerly of Anoka, passed suddenly Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at the Sholom Home in St. Paul. She was born August 2, 1914 in Buffalo to Henry and Minnie (Moss) Varner. She attended Buffalo public schools. In December of 1932 Arvilla was united in marriage to Robert T. Trenary, Sr. in Maple Plain. She was an avid fisherman, gardener and a lover of the outdoors. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, Sr. on July 7, 1994; daughter, Darlyn ``Dodie'' Gutkaes; son-in-law, Robert Gutkaes; 2 great-grandchildren, Alyssa Bialostosky & Cortney Gutkaes. She is survived by son, Robert, Jr. (Jane) of Telluride, CO; 8 grandchildren, Kathy Kelly of Phoenix, AZ, Terry (Gary) Bialostosky of Wimberley, TX, Mary (Daniel) Jaeger of Eden Prairie, MN, Susan (Bill Schmidt) Hermansen of Brooklyn Park, MN, Rick (Maggie) Trenary of Minnetrista, MN, Jill (Chris) Dean of Colorado Springs, CO, Rob (Sherri) Gutkaes of Princeton, MN, Dan (Karen) Gutkaes of Columbia Heights, MN; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Harriet Johnson of Bemidji, MN; brother-in-law, Loren Trenary of Aitkin, MN; and sister-in-law, Janet Compton of Delano, MN. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the 2 PM Memorial Service Wed., May 29, 2002 in Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home, Aitkin, MN.
