Dolores Mary Lammers

Lammers Dolores Mary, age 86, passed away May 23, 2002 at her daughter's home near Elba, MN. Born August 10, 1915 and raised in Wesley, Iowa. She married John T. Lammers April 12, 1939 in Adams, MN. The couple farmed in Iowa and near Plainview, MN until 1967 when they moved to Burnsville, MN. Dolores returned to Plainview in 2001. She enjoyed gardening and quilting, and loved to be with her family. Member of St. Joachim's Catholic Church in Plainview, MN. Preceded in death by parents, Julius & Catherine (Braunger) Wingert; and husband, John on Nov. 4, 1977; and 2 brothers. Survived by 4 sons, Robert (Bonnie) of Rosemount, MN, Reginald (Kathy) of Escondido, CA, Donald (Kathy) of Elgin, MN and Michael of Escondido, CA; 2 daughters, Elaine (Jim) Burke of Plainview, MN and Mary (Jon) Larson of Winona, MN; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 2 brothrs, Fidelis (F.J.) Wingert (Beverly) of Fountain, MN and Sylvester Wingert of Wabasha, MN. Funeral Mass Tuesday, May 28, 10:30 AM at St. Joachim's Catholic Church, Plainview, MN, with Fr. Donald Connelly officiating. Burial St. Joachim's Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 4-8 PM at the Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview, and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Tues.
