Jay E. Shapiro

Shapiro Jay E., age 77, passed away May 22nd in Scottsdale, AZ. Mr. Shapiro was born in Duluth and over 60 years resided in Hibbing before retiring to Scottsdale. He was the owner of Shapiro Drug, Inc. of Hibbing and a prominent member of the Hibbing Business Community. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elaine; children, Pam Shapiro, Jeffrey & Debbie Shapiro, Jonathan & Susan Shapiro and Nancy & Jerry Dellheim; grandchildren, Aaron and Sara Shapiro, Elizabeth and Molly Dellheim, Jessica, Marissa and Felicia Shapiro; brother & sister-in-law Jack & Jackie Shapiro; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services SUNDAY at MINNEAPOLIS JEWISH CEMETERY, 70½ at Penn Ave. S, Richfield (for time call Hodroff & Sons, 612-871-1234).
