Arlene A. Russell

Russell Arlene A., age 91, of Friendship Village, Bloomington, MN. Born August 17, 1910 in Waverly, IA. A graduate of Wartburg College, Waverly, IA, and the University of Minnesota, Arlene moved to Minneapolis in 1954 to be a librarian with the Hennepin County Library System. She retired in 1975 from the Minnesota Dept. of Education, Library Division. A member of the American Association of University Women and PEO, plus long-time member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Waverly, Gethsemane Episcopal Church in Minneapolis and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Edina. Survived by her niece, Julia (David) Nutt; nephew, James (Patty) Russell; grandnieces and grandnephews, all of Grand Prairie, TX. Memorial service 2 PM Tuesday, May 28 at FRIENDSHIP VILLAGE, 8100 Highwood Drive, Bloomington. Interment 1 PM Monday, May 20 in Harlington Cemetery, Waverly, IA.
