Rowland Grace L., age 70, passed away May 14, 2002 after a long battle with cancer. Grace was the first redhead baby born at March Air Force Base, CA and was nicknamed ``Sunny'' by the hospital patients. She served in the Air Force during the Korean War and retired from the Univ. of MN. Survived by son, Patrick (Candy); brother, Ben (Dee); sister, Ruth; nephews, Terry, Jeff and Jon; nieces, Colleen and Maureen. Her gentle smile will be missed by family and dear friends, Sherree, Rudy, Slater, Raena, David, Nancy and Kathy. Our special thanks to Sandra and the caring staff at Fairview Hospice. She is best described by her names, ``Grace'' and ``Sunny''. In lieu of flowers, memorials for a garden in her name can be sent to 2563 Robin Lane, New Brighton, MN 55112. The family invites friends to join them in celebrating her life on Friday, May 17th, 5:30 PM at the home of her son Pat, 2563 Robin Lane, New Brighton.
