Ruth Krohn Kislingbury

Kislingbury RUTH KROHN, age 88, of San Francisco, CA, passed away June 9, 2003. Ruth was born March 13, 1915 and grew up in NE Minneapolis on Monroe St. across from Logan Park. She was a graduate of Edison High School. She moved to California and worked for San Francisco State University. She was active in many liberal causes and the Democratic Party. She was a world traveler throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard; her parents, John N. (who immigrated from Sweden in 1888) and Helga (whose mother immigrated from Norway in 1869); her sister, Mildred; her brothers, Norman, Henry and Roy, and her nephews, Robert Krohn and Richard Kislingbury. She is survived by her grandson, Sean Peter Blackwell of San Francisco, CA, and nephew, John H. Krohn of Eden Prairie, MN; and 5 great-nephews and nieces and 3 great-great- nephews.
