Lau George Lau of Medina, MN, died peacefully in the arms of God at 2:35 AM July 8th after a long courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving family: wife, Marlene; daughter, Rachel (Christopher) Moorman; son, Joseph (Missy) Lau; granddaughter, Alayna; brother, Arthur Lau; sisters, Eleanor (Donald) Tolk & Norma Johnson; brother- in-law, Richard (Evelyn) Cotton; numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends. George was a kind, loving and humble person and will be missed dearly, but will be in our hearts forever. George was an active member of IBEW Local #292 for 30 years and contributed significantly to his church, The Parish Community of St. Joseph. He will be remembered for his quiet presence, his willingness to help and his love for his family and friends. "If anything is broken in Heaven, George can fix it." Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Monday at St. Joseph's Parish Center, 36th & Boone Av N., New Hope. Int. Glen Haven. Visitation Sunday 4:30-8 PM with 7 PM prayer service at Gearty-Delmore Chapel of Plymouth, 37th Ave N. and Vicksburg Lane and at parish center 1 hour before mass Monday.
