Brooks Jay Campbell, age 90, of Minneapolis. Preceded in death by wife, Sara; wife, Loretta and son, Colin. Survived by wife, Thalia; children, Patrick, Elizabeth (Don) Crook, Dr. Marvin (Dr. Kathleen), Kathryn (John) Szymanski and Jay (Terri); and 12 grandchildren. Jay was chief chemical dependency counselor at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis for many years. He was an active member of AA for over 45 years. He enjoyed polkas and was a popular caller at senior citizen square dances. He enjoyed a long life dedicated to helping others and spending time with his family. We will miss him dearly. Visitation Sunday, 5-8 PM at Cremation Society of Minnesota Chapel, 4343 Nicollet Ave S., Mpls.
