Cummings Timothy Matthew, age 13, died May 6 of complications due to the car accident on April 27 that also took his mother's life. Tim was born the son of Wayne G. & Deanne R. Cummings on November 15, 1988 in Waconia, MN. He entered God's kingdom of grace through the waters of Holy Baptism on December 25, 1988, the Reverend Henry Fry officiated. Tim grew up in Young America, Minnesota and attended St. John's Lutheran School, Kindergarten through 7th grade. Tim was a good student and represented the school repeatedly in spelling bees, play days and was on the honor roll. Tim enjoyed playing all sports, playing piano and guitar, collecting Hotwheels cars and sports memorabilia, playing video games, riding snowmobiles and ATV's, and spending time with nieces and nephews. In his short life, Tim had traveled extensively through the continental US in mom's van, and to Hawaii to watch brother Mike's volleyball tournament. He enjoyed National Parks and most tourist attractions. He had a wonderful life full of happy memories and few problems. He will be fondly remembered by the many people whose lives he touched in such a short time. He entered God's Kingdom, May 6, 3:55 pm at the age of 13 years, 5 months, 21 days. Tim was preceded in death by mother, Deanne Ruter Cummings; grandmother, Agnes Ruter; grandfather, Lester Cummings; nephew, Brock Thomas Cummings, and cousin, Shawn Ruter. Tim is survived by father, Wayne Gary Cummings; brother, Steve Sean Cummings (wife Vicki); sisters, Ann Marie Mitchell (husband Brian), Jennifer Ruth Ackland (husband Brian); brother, Michael Wayne Cummings (fiancee Londa); nephews, Cole Carson Cummings and Jacob Brian Mitchell; nieces, Molly Kate Mitchell, Kelly Nicole Mitchell and Ellie Krystina Ackland; grandmother, Delores Cummings and grandfather, Henry Ruter; as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins. Visitation will be Thursday, May 9, 4-8 pm at Paul-McBride Funeral Home in Norwood Young America. The Funeral will be Friday, May 10, 3 pm at St. John's Lutheran Church, Norwood Young America.
