Amera J. Vetscher

Vetscher Amera J., age 87, passed away peacefully at St. Therese Home. Sunrise May 9, 1914, Sunset May 7, 2002. Preceded in death by the love of her life, husband, Joe; and grandson, Jimmy. Survived by daughter, Barbara (Maury) Savoye; sons, Bill (Marcie), Jim (Fran), John (Mary), Paul (Nancy); as well as 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and special friends, Chuck & Eileen Kronstedt. Amy, a longtime resident of N. Mpls, was active for many years in parish activities at Ascension Church. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at St. Therese, who made her last months as comfortable as possible. Memorials in lieu of flowers to the St. Therese Alzheimer's Unit, 8000 Bass Lake Rd. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 12 noon at the Church of St. Raphael, 7301 Bass Lake Rd. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 5-8 pm at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 7300 42nd Av N.
