Roderick E. Donald, 79, of Lake Vermilion - Cook, died Saturday, January 25, 2003, at Cape Coral Hospital, while wintering in Florida. He lived in the cities for 45 years, where he worked in building & home construction and in floor refinishing. He is survived by his wife, E. Doris; 1 son, Donald Roderick of Chanhassen, MN; 4 daughters, Barbara (Gary) Boutto of Cook, Beverly (Warren) Rutledge of Greenfield, MN, Janice (Randy) Rogers of Plymouth, MN, and Joanne Conklin of Dundas, MN; 2 brothers, Robert (Mildred) Roderick of Maple Plains, MN, and Richard (Althea) Roderick of Martinaz, CA; 12 grandchildren: Dawn (Todd) Seopa, Dean (Sidra) Boutto, DeeAnn (Brad) Sandberg, Donnie Roderick, Allison, Megan, and Andrew Rutledge, Jeff & Tim Rogers, Benjamin, Jonathan, and Cassandra Conklin; 6 great-grandchildren, Jordan Manick, Mitchell Seopa, Bryan and Brady Boutto, and Alli and Hanna Sandberg; and 1 brother-in-law, Ervin Scott of Cook, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14th, at the Mlaker Funeral Home in Cook, MN. (218-666-5298)
