Selvig Florence Selvig, age 79, Charter House in Rochester, Minnesota died Wednesday, May 28, 2003. Born March 3, 1924 in Cokato, Minnesota. Married to Warren G. Selvig. Surviving Children, Beth Selvig of Pine Island, Minnesota, Valerie A. Smith of Wichita, Kansas; 3 grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband and parents. Florence taught at McPhail College of Music in Minnesota; also at Lindenwood in Missouri. Her work was renowned as a teacher and a soloist. She was a director of several church choirs; a member of Mu Phi Epsilon and Scandinavian Club. Private family services. Cemetery: Sunset Memorial Park in Mpls, Memorials to American Cancer Society or Mayo Hospice Program.
