Edwins, Steven B. Surrounded by the love of his wife and sons, Steven B. Edwins passed away at his home on Sunday morning, December 14, 2014, at the age of 71. Steve was principal of SMSQ architects in Northfield, MN. During his 38 year career at SMSQ, Steve focused his talents on church architecture and historic preservation. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Jennifer; his sons, Andrew and his girlfriend Michele Goddard, Daniel, all of Minneapolis; his brother, Rev. Michael Edwins of Minneapolis; his mother-in-law, Jody Harvey; his sister-in-law, Patricia (Bob) Goodwin; his nephew, Seth Goodwin, all of Omaha; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Millie Edwins and his father-in-law Donald Harvey. A Celebration of Steve's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 18, 2014, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Northfield with Rev. Pam Fickenscher officiating. Music will be provided by Nathan Proctor and St. John's Chorale. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Northfield. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday one hour prior to the service.
