Ethel Irene Simar

Simar Ethel Irene, 90, of Spring Park, passed away Monday, May 26, 2003. She was born on Feb. 10, 1913 to Lewis and Anna (Young) Soper in Todd Co., MN. Ethel was a member of Mound Assembly of God since 1952, a member of Gideon's International Auxiliary and was active with the Westonka Senior Citizen's Group. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard; great-granddaughter, Tara Lynn; parents; brothers and sisters. Ethel is survived by her sons, Roger (Evelyn), Jerry (Susan) and Michael (Sandra); grandchildren, Debra, Renee, Melaney, Gregory, David, Melissa, Amanda and Tina; great-grandchildren, Candace, Charity, Phillip, Kerri Ann, Aurora, Brianna, Tiffany, Cynthia, Jerome, Tasha, Erin, Corben, Kassandra, Edward and Austin; great-great-grandson, Cameron; and many loving relatives and friends. Funeral will be held Thursday, May 29, 2003 at 11 AM at Mound Assembly of God, 5595 Westwood Ave. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7:45 PM at Huber Funeral Home, 1801 Commerce Blvd., Mound, with a prayer service at 7:45 PM.
