Florence Violet

Violet Florence, age 86, of Columbia Heights, died on May 1, 2002. Preceded by her husband, Archie Violet; her brothers, Al, Harold and Donald Markuson. Survived by daughter, Mary (Duane) Sparks; son, Jerry (Kathy) Violet; sister, Dorothy Markuson; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Flossie was born in Buffalo, MN. She was a teacher, musician, artist and businesswoman. Flossie will be remembered for always ``taking care of her people'' with whatever they needed. A celebration luncheon will be held on Saturday, May 18 at 3 pm at the Annandale United Methodist Church.
