Mork Agnes Gibb, 91, died in Phoenix, Arizona, May 8, 2003. She was born September 22, 1911, in Fargo, ND, graduated from Fargo High and Moorhead State Teachers College, and taught in Lake Bronson MN and Fargo before marrying Gordon M. A. Mork. They lived in Milaca and Bemidji before settling in Minneapolis in 1950, where she lived 46 years. Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Annie Gibb; her sisters, Jeanie Gibb McCulloch, Ann Gibb Rollins, Jessie Gibb Beaton; her brother, Robert Gibb Jr.; her grandson, Thom Pelletier; and her husband, Gordon M.A. Mork. She is survived by her brothers, Don Gibb, Dave Gibb, and George Gibb; her children, Gordon Robert Mork and Mary Agnes Mork; her grandchildren, Bill Pelletier, Paula Pelletier-Butler, Bob Pelletier, Mary-Margaret Pelletier Guire, Robb Mork, Kristi Mork Roberts and Elizabeth Mork; and her great-grandchildren, Casey Pelletier, Keegan Shrum, Lydia Butler, Tommy Pelletier, Madeline Roberts and Meredith Roberts. A celebration of Agnes's life will be held at the First Baptist Church in Fargo ND at 11:00 am on Friday May 23. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis will be on Thursday May 22 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gordon M.A. Mork College of Education Outstanding Alumnus Award at the University of Minnesota or a charity of personal choice.
