John J. Salamandyk

Salamandyk John J., age 66, of Mesa, AZ, passed away after a short illness on May 14, 2003. Born April 4, 1937 in Minneapolis. Married Saundra Sue (nee Yerian) in 1960. John proudly served in the US Air Force and later worked many years for Honeywell in Minneapolis, Freeport, IL, and later in El Paso, TX. He had recently retired to Mesa, AZ. He will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by parents, William & Mary. He is survived by his children, Cynthia Salamandyk of Bloomington, Kristin Salamandyk of Orangeville, IL, and Timothy Salamandyk of Weehawken, NJ. Also survived by sisters, Dolores (Ted) Gromek of St. Anthony, Gloria (David) Kniaz of Dallas; and many nieces & nephews. Funeral service Saturday 5 PM at Werness Brothers Funeral Chapel, 2300 W. Old Shakopee Rd., Bloomington. Private interment. Visitation 2 hours prior to service. A memorial fund will be established in lieu of flowers. WERNESS BROTHERS 952-884-8145
