Carlson Adeline V., 92, died April 26 at Ebenezer Luther Hall in Minneapolis. Adeline was the widow of Carl Hilding Carlson and is survived by her son, Michael H. Carlson and his wife Nancy of Grand Marais, MN. Adeline gave many hours in community service with Cub Scouting, PTA at Emerson School, Central Lutheran Church and Woodrow Wilson VFW. After graduating from Mpls. Vocational H.S., she had worked as a bookkeeper at Carnegie and Atkinsons, in sales for Dayton's in the Boy Scout Department, as a cook in the Mpls. Schools lunch program and retired from work as a cook at the Juvenile Detention Center of Hennepin County. Since her stroke in 1984 she has been confined to nursing care where she was able to continue her interest in the happiness of others. A memorial service will be held at Luther Hall, 2636 Park Ave., June 8 at 3:30 PM. Thanks to the caring staff members of Luther Hall that have served Adeline over these many years.
