Russell I. Palmer

Palmer Russell I., age 84, of New Hope. Retired copywriter for Collier's, Hearst magazines, Army Times and Our Sunday Visitor. His photo essay `Sled Dogs in Dixie', about Siberian Huskies bred in Virginia, appeared in the 1950s. Survived by wife, Patricia; daughter, Deborah Lagzdins; grand-daughters, Kristina and Erica; sister, Patricia (John) Vigneau. Also a member of Christ the King Retreat Center, Buffalo, MN.
