Robitz Clara (Lerner), born in Winnipeg, Canada 10/20/19. Moved to the U.S. as a small child. Graduated from North High School in 1938. Preceded in death by parents, Morris and Sara Lerner, sister and brother-in-law Jean and David Wainstock, mother-in-law and father-in-law Rebecca and Louis Robitz and brother-in-law Gordon Moscoe. She is survived by beloved husband Gerald of 59½ years; daughters, Ronnie Goldman, Karen Robitz and Nancy (Brian) Preuss; grandchildren, Josh and Matt Goldman, and Victoria and Elizabeth Preuss; sisters, Mary Kutner (NY), Natalie (Harold) Rudoy (NV); brother, Sam (Arlene) Lerner (NY); brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Donald and Doris Robitz, Cecil Robitz and Anita Moscoe; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Clara worked for many years with her husband in the family businesses as a buyer, bookkeeper and office manager. She volunteered her time with the City of Hope, Hadassah and Minneapolis Children's Hospital (Jack and Jill Chapter), where she was the candy buyer in the gift shop and was recognized for her many years of service. She loved to cook and bake for family and friends and special occasions. She was an avid walker, gardener and Vikings and Twins fan. She enjoyed concerts, movies and dancing. Clara was a member of Adath Jeshurun Synagogue for over 40 years. We will miss her greatly. Special thanks to her caregivers at Sholom Home West 2 North, North Memorial Residential Hospice and all of her doctors. Funeral service at Adath Jeshurun Synagogue, 10500 Hillside Lane West, Minnetonka, Thursday, April 25 at 2:00 p.m. Memorials preferred to Minneapolis Children's Hospital or the Clara Robitz Memorial Fund at Adath Jeshurun Synagogue.
