Thomas B. Peer

Peer Thomas B., age 52, of Stillwater, formerly of Duluth, died of cancer on 4/21/02 at his home with his loving family by his side. Preceded in death by father, Robert B. Peer; nephew, Casey Peer, and ``best friend'' Buster. Survived by wife, Darlene; children, Jodi Peer, Thom Peer; mother, Bernice Peer; brother, Robert Peer (Peggy), David Peer (Bunny); sister, Nancy Pollard. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Tom grew up in Duluth and attended UMD, and graduated from Concordia University in St. Paul. Even throughout his illnesses, his love of life flourished. Tom enjoyed the outdoors finding new pleasures when old ones weren't possible. He will continue to be an inspiration to all of us. A very special thank you to Joannie Yerke, who made this journey much easier. Joannie, you were always able to put a twinkle in Tom's eyes. Memorial service 1 pm Wednesday, 4/24/02, First United Methodist Church, 813 W. Myrtle Street, Stillwater, MN. Private interment. Memorials preferred to donor's choice.
