James John Dusenka

James John, Dusenka Sr age 66 of Coon Rapids and formerly of Fridley died unexpectedly on Thurs, April, 18th, 2002. ``Papa has gone to be with Jesus.'' Preceded in death by parents, Frank & Wanda; grandson, Scotty. Survived by loving wife of 45 years, and best friend, Marge; children, Jim (Sharon), Todd (Patricia), Jeff (Peggy), Glenn (Beth) and Lisa Stromberg (Paul); Jim's greatest source of joy, his grandchildren, Christopher, Olivia, Kelsey, Michael, Alicia and Joshua; great-grandchild, Nicole; siblings, Frank (Shirley), Lynn Kennedy (George) Sherry Vee and Darlene Dusenka; many other family members and friends. Once co-manager of Dusenka's Bar with his brother, Frank in NE Mpls. He was a loving husband, giving father, adoring grandfather and caring brother. Loved to fish and hunt. A grand storyteller. He has left us with many loving memories. He will be dearly missed by all whose lives he has touched. Funeral Tuesday, 9:30 am, from the Kapala-Glodek NE Chapel, 230 - 13th Ave NE. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave NE. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Visitation at the chapel Monday, 6-8 pm with vigil service at 7pm.
