Amberg Paul Revier Amberg, Sr., 59, Mahnomen, MN, passed away peacefully in his sleep April 15, 2002 after a valiant 3-month battle with complications from gastric cancer surgery. He is survived by his son, Paul Amberg, Jr.; daughters, Michelle ``Shelly'' (Jerry) Machacek and Stacy Amberg; granddaughter, Kirstin Amberg. Also surviving are brothers, Steve (Eileen) and Mark (Sandy); sister, Jane (Jim) Sherack; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, George & Ellen Amberg. Service 2 pm Friday, April 19 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Mahnomen, MN. A wake will be held Thursday evening at 7 pm at the church. We would like to thank everyone at Fairview Southdale, especially Jay, Rick and Ruth, for the care and support that our father received during the 7 weeks that he was under their care.
