Agnes Mae (Woods) Riddle

Riddle Agnes Mae (Woods), age 94, went to her destiny with the Lord on April 3, 2002. Born in Louisiana, she lived most of her life in northwestern Louisiana and east Texas before moving to the Twin Cities area (of Minnesota) to be with her only son's family in 1988. She lived in Eden Prairie, Minnetonka and most recently in Shakopee, MN. Agnes passed on her love for music to the rest of her family and she enjoyed playing piano and singing with family and friends throughout her life. A florist by profession, Agnes will be most remembered for the small, random acts of kindness she gave freely to everyone she knew and met. With her beautiful smile, kind words and compliments, she sewed happiness and love in thousands of lives. Preceded in death by husband, Ralph M. Riddle, Sr. and only child, Ralph M. Riddle, Jr. Survived by daughter-in-law, Carol Riddle-Kreuser of Prior Lake; grandchildren, Michael Riddle (Becky) of Minnetonka, Julie Johnson of Minnetonka, Charles Riddle (Lani) of Hudson, WI, Jan Capps (Duane) of Albertville, MN, Mark Riddle (Audrey) of Bloomington; 9 great-grandchildren; half sisters, Mrs. Frances Blair of Monroe, NC, Juanice Lasoyne of Boyce, LA and nephew, Ronald Hooker of Houston, TX; and other nieces and nephews. Memorial service Friday, April 19, 2002, 2:30 pm, Excelsior United Methodist Church, 840 Hwy 7, Excelsior (952-474-5471). Private family interment, Cotton Valley Cemetery, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Agnes Riddle Memorial Fund, c/o Carol Riddle-Kreuser, 3141 170th St. SW, Prior Lake, MN 55372, to be divided between Agnes' two favorite charities.
