Richard L. Handberg

Handberg Richard L., age 70, of Plymouth, on April 9, at home, after a brief illness. Survived by his wife, Julie; daughters, Paula (William) Cole, Jill (Tim) Patterson, Cindy Hoppe, Laurie Handberg; son, Rick (Paula) Handberg; grandchildren, Patrick, Tom, Terry, Luke, Stephen, Katlyn, Cassondra, Breeyn, Lindsey, Darryl, Carrie, Ashley and Jason; great-grandchildren, Loren and Sydney; brothers, Gordon (Elizabeth) and Ron (Carol); 3 nieces & 2 nephews. He was a veteran of the US Navy, a member of the Eden Prairie West Lions Club, a longtime employee and executive of Starkey Laboratories, Inc., and an avid fisherman and golfer. Memorial service Monday at 4 PM at Unity Church-Unitarian, 732 Holly Ave., St. Paul. Enter sanctuary by Portland Ave. and Grotto St. doors. Church parking lot is one block East at Portland Ave. and St. Albans St. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers, and may be directed to Unity Church-Unitarian, or to the donor's charity of choice.
