Edward J. Martin

Martin Edward J., age 88, died May 5, 2003 at Walker Southview. Survived by Elizabeth, loving wife of 63 years; sons, Edward F. (Margaret), Stephen F. (Jeanne), James S. (Nancy); daughter, Elizabeth (Stanley) Jordahl; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren. Edward attended Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, WI, where he was an all-state quarterback for two years and an Eagle Scout. He was a Scoutmaster for many years in Mpls. He was an avid sportsman and outdoor enthusiast, a loving husband and father, he will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Memorial service 2 pm Friday, Lynnhurst Congregational Church of Christ, 4501 Colfax Ave S., Mpls. Private interment, Lakewood Cemetery.
