Mary Barbara Piesinger

Piesinger Mary Barbara, 91, of Le Center, MN, died Monday, Apr. 28. Mary was born Apr. 15, 1912 to Hubert and Antoinette (Becher) Piesinger. She was a 1929 graduate of Le Center High School and 1933 graduate of St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in Mpls. Mary worked as an RN at U of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor, 1933-1952, and at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Mpls, 1952-1977. At Mt. Sinai, she was in charge of the Employees' Health Service and subsequently presided as Head Nurse of the ER Dept. Mary is survived by her nieces, Constance, Andrea, and Joan; nephew, Gregory; niece-in-law, Ruth; and five great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew and four sisters, Ann, Rose, Antoinette, and Cecelia Piesinger. Funeral services begin with 1 hr. visitation and rosary at 9 AM, followed by mass at 10 AM Saturday, May 3 at St. Mary's Church, 165 N. Waterville Ave., Le Center.
