Marion (Brandon) Butts

Butts Marion (Brandon), age 79, of Gilford, NH died January 28, 2003 at the Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia, NH. She was the widow of Murray L. Butts, who died in 1981. Mrs. Butts was born February 12, 1923 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Martin W. and Lillian (Rosen) Brandon. Mrs. Butts had been a resident of Gilford, NH since 1979. She was a legal secretary for many years for Atty. Arthur Nighswander before she retired in 1988. Survivors include five daughters, Barbara Oliver of Divide, CO, Mary Oliver of Edina, MN, Elizabeth "Betsy" Axelson of Gorham, ME, Judy Hughes of Clayton, WI and Martha Fechner of Eagan, MN; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Holly Irmo of Colorado Springs, CO; 3 nephews; and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
