Benson Adolph M., age 85, of Monticello, formerly of Minneapolis. Born on July 11, 1917 and passed away on April 26, 2003. Preceded in death by his wife, Lucille, after 59 years of marriage; sisters, Ellen Thompson, Bernice Severson, Hazel Georges; and brothers, Curt, Henry, and John Benson. Survived by daughter, Margaret (Wilbur) Eck; son, Thomas (Linda) Benson; grandchildren, Nyra Wimmergren, Daniel and Timothy Eck and Lynea Benson; 7 great-grandchildren; numerous loving nieces and nephews; and special friend, June Schafbuch. Adolph was a truck driver and heavy equipment mechanic before retirement. After retirement he enjoyed weekends at Osowski's Flea Market in Monticello with his many friends. His biggest enjoyment was his family and grandchildren. Funeral services Friday, May 2 at 11 AM at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 East Broadway, Monticello. Interment Lakeview Cemetery of Anoka County.
