Margaret Alicia Algren

Algren Margaret Alicia, age 92, died April 27, 2003. Preceded in death by husband, Willard. Survived by son, David; daughter, Cindy Eakins; grandsons, Michael Algren, and Jay and Jonathan Eakins; great-granddaughter, Kiara Norrbom; sister, Helen Gorra; many nieces and nephews; other loving family members and friends. Margaret was a long time employee of Donaldsons Department Store starting work there the day Southdale opened and retiring when the store, then Carson Piere Scott, closed it's doors. She worked well into her 80's. She was a dedicated member of the Judson Memorial Baptist Church in Mpls., working there (until her recent illness) every other Saturday helping to make soup for shut-ins. She was truly a gift to her family and friends and we all feel blessed to have had her for 92 years. Memorial services to be held 4 PM Friday, May 9, at Judson Memorial Baptist Church, 4101 Harriet Ave S., Mpls. Private interment at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials preferred to the church.
