Lenore Peters

Peters Lenore, age 103, of Northfield, passed away Friday at the Northfield Care Center. She began teaching country school in Freeborn County, MN, then was an elementary teacher in Mahtomedi, and later in Northfield. She was a member of Josiah Edson Chapter of the DAR. She is survived by sister, Mildred Christianson of Albert Lea, MN, six nieces & nephews, and many friends. Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday, May 1st at the First United Church of Christ in Northfield. Burial at the Freeborn Cemetery in Freeborn, MN. Visitation Thursday at the church one hour prior to services. Arrangements by the Bierman Funeral Home of Northfield.
