Marcella Kathryn Linnihan Burns

Burns Marcella Kathryn Linnihan Burns of Richfield (formerly of Waseca and New Richland). Beloved mother and grandmother began her life of everlasting happiness April 24, 2003. Preceded in death by husband, Cyril T.; and parents, Michael and Lorina Linnihan; and four siblings, John, Michael and Cecilia Linnihan and Mae LaMere. She is survived by her two sons, Robert C. Burns and James M. Burns & wife Sally of Bloomington, MN; four grandchildren, Jim Jr. and Jennifer (David) MacKinnon, John (Millie) Burns and Jessica (Jerry) Chrisman; and three great-grandsons, Joe and Geoff MacKinnon and Shea Chrisman. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all her family, including sister-in-law, Betty Linnihan; numerous nieces and nephews; and many long time friends and neighbors. Visitation 5-7 PM Sunday, April 27, with Rosary recitation at 7:00 PM at the Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel, W. 50th St. & Vernon Ave., at Hwy. 100, Edina. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Monday, April 28 at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 9401 Nesbitt Ave. S., Bloomington. Reviewal one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials preferred to St. Edward's Catholic Church. The family is deeply appreciative of the support provided by St. Edward's and Assumption Catholic Churches and the care provided by the staff of the Masonic Home.
