Mairs Thomas Samuel, born October 19, 1949, died April 16, 2003 in Boston, MA at the age of 53. Thomas graduated from St. Paul Academy in 1967, then attended Yale University. He was an artist, researcher and historian. Thomas moved to Boston, where he was a resident for over 20 years, to pursue the arts at the Fenway Studios. Preceded in death by mother, Marjorie. Survived by father, Thomas G.; a sister, Nancy Mairs Daly (Peter); 2 brothers, Robert G. and Peter E. (Cheryl); nephew & niece, Samuel & Mary Daly. Family will meet with friends from 4-6 PM Monday, April 28 at Willwerscheid & Peters Mortuary, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul, 651-228-1006. Memorials preferred to The Fogg Art Museum, The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, or donor's choice.
