G. Maurice Ottsen

Ottsen NOTE TIME OF SERVICE Rev. G. Maurice, age 96, of Minnetonka, passed away on April 16, 2003. Born in St. Louis, MO, he lived in many cities throughout the Midwest. Alternately working in sales and attending college during the Depression, he graduated from Coe College in 1934. Married in 1937 to Katharine Keiber, he ultimately followed his life dream and entered the Episcopal Priesthood in 1948. He served congregations in Iowa, North Dakota, Nebraska and California, working until age 79. He was preceded in death 2-1/2 months ago by his wife of 65 years and is survived by his sister-in-law, Helene Ottsen of Cedar Rapids, IA. He will be dearly missed as well by his children, Ron of Whitefish, MT, Sandra (Lynn) Davis of Edina, MN and David (Deborah) of Mishawaka, IN; his 3 grandchildren - Chris (Margaret), Justin and Carrie; and his soon to be born great-grandchild.
