Sister, Sister Lavonne Maas

Maas Sister Lavonne, O.S.B., age 67, of St. Benedict's Monastery of St. Joseph, MN, died on 3-27-02, of cancer. She was an Elementary teacher and/or Principal for 43 years. She was preceded in death by parents, Louis and Lorraine Maas; nephew, Thomas Segner; and brother-in-law, Jerry Hilgers. Survived by brothers, Bob (Rose), Leon (Carol); sisters, Eileen Nalevanko (John), Dianne Segner (Fred), Marilyn Hilgers, Arlys Knopick (Don), Bonnie Moonen (Don); and many nieces and nephews. Mass of the Christian Burial Thursday, April 4, at the Gathering Place Chapel at St. Benedict's Monastery Chapel, St. Joseph, MN. Visitation beginning at 9:00 AM until Mass at 4:00 PM.
