Konofaos (Wiley) Eleanor Konofaos (Wiley). Born August 1, 1928, died peacefully on April 15, 2003. She fought her battle with cancer as bravely as she lived life. Preceded in death by her father, sister Joanne, and brother Sonny. She worked at Minnetonka City Hall where she retired in 1990. She worked for many years at the Old Log Theater in Excelsior and most recently at Country Clean in Chanhassen and Navarre. She touched many people's lives with her warm regard, sense of humor, and willingness to help. You may remember seeing her on her bike as she logged sometimes more than 90 miles in a single day. She truly enjoyed riding. It is not what you take with you when you go, its what you leave behind that counts. Eleanor was a wonderful grandmother to four boys; Keil, Caid, Lane, and Wiley. We will all miss her very much. We are comforted to know that she can rest in peace and know God's love and beauty. Thank you Hospice of The Twin Cities. Leslie, Michelle, Jeanette, and Carol, thank you for being a part of my mom's journey in life. Kari, we needed you, and you were there - all our love. A memorial service will be held at Excelsior Methodist Church, 840 Highway 7, Excelsior, MN 55331 - (952) 474-5471.
