Powell Ernest H. "Ernie", age 78, of Richfield. Retired President from Church, Rickards, Whitlock, Inc. Westchester, IL. Preceded in death by wife, Madeline and granddaughter, Kate Gierum. Survived by wife, Jeanne Wellens; sons, Jerry (Sally), Dana (Carolyn), David (Kathy); daughters, Kit (Marty) Spitzenberger, Jeanne (Melvin) Lamz, Karil (Karl) Gierum; stepchildren, Kathy (Gary) Copley, Jeff (Jane) Wellens and Maureen Wellens; 21 grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, 12 noon at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 6730 Nicollet Ave S. Further services and interment in Libertyville, IL. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass at church.
