Robert Casimir Lapinski
Lapinski Robert Casimir Lapinski, age 73, died suddenly Wednesday, April 9, 2003. He was born on June 28, 1929 to Kasmierz and Mary (Gurwicz) Lapinski in Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Amber Rose; and five sisters. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Esther; children, Robert (Karla), Debra (Keith) Kullberg, James (Susan), Mark (Cari); grandchildren, Nicole (Brant), Natalie, Angela, Ben, Danielle, Rachael (Brian), Kristin (Zeke), Kelly, Jeremiah, Autumn, Shanna, Brooke; sister, Dorothy and many other family and friends. Bob worked for NCR Corporation for over 35 years, retiring as a Regional Director. He loved boating, fishing, and golfing. He also volunteered at St. Thomas College, teaching Senior Citizens going "on-line." Bob was passionate about his faith, family & friends. He loved & was deeply loved, living life to the fullest. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2003 at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 2385 Commerce Blvd., Mound, with Fr. Stan Mader officiating and Pastor Debra Kullberg eulogizing. Visitation will be on Friday from 5-7 PM at Huber Funeral Home and from 10-11 AM on Saturday at the Church.
