Barton Hempel

Hempel Barton, age 67, of Bloomington, died on April 9 of pancreatic cancer. Bart lived his last days at home in comfort, among adoring family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, The Rev. Wilhelm & Margaret Hempel. Survived by Diane, loving wife of 45 years; daughters, Barbara Hempel, Susan Pottorff (Greg) and Kathryn Hempel (Curt Warner); grandchildren, Abby, Charlie, Katie and William Barton Pottorff and Daisy and Lincoln Warner. Also survived by brothers and sisters, Betty, Bill (Kay), Keith (Colleen), Margaret and Mark; sister-in-law, Kathy (Bill) Jerue, and many other wonderful family members and friends.
