Myrle Louise Shoquest

Shoquest Myrle Louise Shoquest, age 98, died April 8, 2003 at Walker Methodist Healthcare Center. Myrle was a 40-year employee of Dayton's Personnel Dept., retiring Oct. 31, 1969. Myrle was preceded in death by parents, Agusta Eleanor & Carl Edward Shoquist of Clinton, MN; brother, Orlow John Shoquist of Mpls; sister, Lola Christine Shoquest of Edina; niece, Nancy Garner (Mrs. Ron) of Mpls, and nephew, David Shoquest of Mpls. She is survived by her sister, Merna Ross (Mrs. John W.) of San Diego, CA; nieces, Lou Ann Garner (Mrs. Bill) of St. Cloud, MN, Mary Ellen Nash (Mrs. Harry) of Duluth, MN, Rebecca Porter (Mrs. Kevin) of San Clemente, CA, Susan Sodergren (Mrs. Tom) of Applegate, CA, by Virginia Melikian (Mrs. Allan) of Stockton, CA; nephews, Charles Shoquist & wife Pauline of Burnsville, MN and Marshall Shoquist & wife of Carmel, CA. She is also survived by good friends, Carol Ambers, Carol Nutt, Brenda Shelby and Emerita Stallman. Visitation will be Friday, April 11 from 5-7 PM at Werness Brothers, 3500 W. 50th St., Mpls. Funeral service will be on Saturday, April 12 at 2 PM with visitation 1/2 hour prior to service at Elim Lutheran Church, Clinton, MN, with interment to follow in the Clinton City Cemetery.
