Mary E. (Sanko) Gates

Gates Mary E. (Sanko), age 81. Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by family and friends for her unselfishness and infectious smile. Preceded in death by husband, Sidney. Survived by son, Douglas; daughter, Barbara (T.J.); 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Sue; sister-in-law, Lorraine; and nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the caregivers at North Memorial Hospice. Service 12 noon, Monday, at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave S, Mpls with visitation one hour prior to service.
