Marcene M. Paul
Paul Marcene M. Paul, 40, of 5432 50th St., Chippewa Falls, town of Wheaton, died Saturday, April 5, 2003, as a result of an automobile accident in the town of Wheaton. She was born December 17, 1962, in Janesville to Mary (Govin) and James "J.F." Koepnick. She grew up in Janesville and graduated from Janesville Parker High School in 1981. She attended MATC-Madison, graduating in 1983, with a degree in occupational therapy. She was employed at Mercy Hospital in Janesville from 1979 until 1982. She then attended St. Catherine's in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was then employed at Allergy Specialists in Minneapolis from 1985 until 1993. She then received her bachelor's degree in nursing from UW-Eau Claire in 1995. She has been employed as a registered nurse at Luther-Midelfort for the past ten years. Marcene married Derrick J. Paul on September 26, 1998, at Big Elk Creek Lutheran Church, town of Wheaton. They have resided in the town of Wheaton since their marriage. Survivors include her loving husband, Derrick; a daughter, Claudia Paul and a son, Theodore Paul, both at home; her father, Jim Koepnick of Eau Claire; a sister, Sue Koepnick of Eau Claire; two brothers, Bill Koepnick of Janesville, James Koepnick of Oshkosh; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Eileen and Gerald Paul of Bemidji, Minn.; two brothers-in-law, Ron Paul of St. Paul, Minn. and Brian Paul of Bemidji. She was preceded in death by her mother and her maternal and paternal grandparents. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls, with the Rev. Hal Schroetter of Big Elk Creek Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow at Big Elk Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and until the time of service Wednesday at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls.
