Rogers Norbert "Bert"Rogers. The Lord took His faithful servant Bert to his eternal home on April 4 at the age of 74. Bert, a life-long resident of Eden Prairie, is preceded in death by his parents Roland & Marian Rogers & his sister Elizabeth Davidson. Bert is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Angie Rogers; son & daughter-in-law Mike & Andrea Rogers; his very special grandchildren Stephanie & Samantha Rogers, Eden Prairie; brother John (Patricia) Rogers, Eden Prairie; twin brother Norman (Lu) Rogers, Richfield many nieces & nephews & many other family members & friends. Bert worked for the Eden Prairie schools until 1987 & was also an Eden Prairie Firefighter for 20 years. Over his lifetime, Bert was always serving the Lord & others without condition. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, chairman of the Eden Prairie Cemetery Association, a member of the Eden Prairie Historical Society & various other service organizations within his community. Mass of Christian burial Tues., April 8, 2003, 10 am, St. Hubert Catholic Church, 8201 Main St., Chanhassen (952-934-9106). Visitation, Monday, 5-8 PM with Rosary 7 PM. Hubert Funeral Home, 16394 Glory Lane, Eden Prairie, 1/2 mile S. of Hwy. 5 on Cty. Rd. 4. Visitation also 1 hour prior to service at church. Interment Eden Prairie Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Methodist Hospital Hospice or PROP.
