Smith Donavan G., Sr., ``Honker'', age 67, St. Paul on March 23. Preceded in death by wife, Charlene; son, Stephen; and father, Donald W. Smith. Survived by wife, Carleen; mother, Lucille H. Smith; daughters Debbie (Jeff) Thompson, Cheryl (Ken) Whalen, and Becky (Bill) Campbell; sons, Daniel (Theresa), Donavan Jr. (Lori), Ronald (Gail), Randy (Chris) Mallum and Jeremy (Linda) Ameberg; 20 grandhchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis A. (Bev) Smith; sister, Kakthy (Bob) Zollman; and other relatives and friends. After 38 years of service with Teamsters Local 120 he retired from Cemstone and after retirement he was a volunteer driver for St. Paul Evangelistic Food Ministry. Visitation 2-8 PM MONDAY, March 25, MUELLER MORTUARY PARKWAY CHAPEL, 835 Johnson Pkwy at E. 7th St., also visitation 1 hour before service. Funeral service 10 AM TUESDAY, March 26, at the mortuary.
