Florence Neff Olson
Olson Florence Neff Olson, died in her sleep on St. Patrick's Day, following a brief illness. Born May 5, 1908, in Irvona, PA (Clearfield County). Graduate of Wilson College, Chambersburg, PA, Class of 1931. Predeceased by brothers, Philip and Robert Neff; husband, Albert A. Olson; son-in-law, John O. Olson. Survived by daughters, Karen Glover, Jean Philson, Nancy Olson; son-in-law, Steve Philson; granddaughters, Veronica Olson and Danielle Boyer; and grandson-in-law, E-7/SFC Brent J. Boyer; great-grandchildren, Melissa, David and Denise Olson and Jacqueline and Kyle Boyer; and by friends and neighbors who remember her strength and her sense of humor. Florence spent her last years at Catholic ElderCare, and she has bequeathed her body to the University of Minnesota Medical School for research.
