Bernice (Kinney) Johnson

Johnson (nee Kinney) Bernice, age 92 of Mpls., formerly of Mankato & St. Cloud, died March 14, 2002. Survived by husband Gregory; sons Edward (Sandra) of Key West, FL, Robert (Teri) of Bonsall, CA; grandson Ben of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Born in Biwabik, MN on Dec. 31, 1909. She graduated from high school in 1927 and earned an R.N. degree from St. Mary's Hospital, Duluth, in 1933. Bernice was a talented pianist, ice skater & gourmet cook. She was a loving wife of 65 years and leaves a host of sorrowful relatives & friends. Special thanks to the staff and nurses at Presbyterian Homes of Bloomington Care Center for their wonderful kindness. Private services and interment will be held at a later date.
