Corens Florimond Polydore ``Barney'', age 88, of Maple Lake, formerly of Minnetonka, died peacefully on March 11, 2002. Survived by loving wife of 65 years, Dorothy (Bock); children, Marion (Eddie) Ryshavy, Bob (Evelyn), Ted (Marge), Kathy Swinehart, Ken (Maggie), Terry (Mark) McFarland, Patty (Bob) Woodey, and Lisa Murphy; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and two on-the-way; other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by infant sister, Leontina; parents, stepfather, and sons-in-law, Marty Swinehart and Dan Murphy. Barney graduated from DeLaSalle High School in 1930, and St. Thomas College in 1935 with a B.S. degree in chemistry. He retired from Terry Bros. Construction after 33 years. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, Father George Council. Charter member of St. Mary of the Lake Church of Plymouth. Memorial Mass at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 105 North Forest View Lane, Plymouth, 11 AM Saturday, March 16. Visitation Sat. from 9:30 AM to 11 AM at the church. Private interment.
