Carol Y. (Martin) Hanson

Hanson (Martin) Carol Y., age 76, of Crystal, on March 10, 2002. Graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1951. Attended Augsburg College, where she sang in the Augsburg Choir. She loved to play piano and sing. She offered her singing talents as a choir member for many years at Russell Ave., Cross of Glory, and St. James Lutheran Churches. She drove school bus for St. Louis Park. She served as a Girl Scout leader and volunteered for church, community and charity causes. Beloved wife (51 years) of Homer L. Hanson. Dear mother of Kay (Hal) Kleifgen, Dale, Pam (Bill) Williams and Steve. Grandmother of Joshua, Cassandra, Susanna and David Kleifgen, Lorna and Sonia Hanson, and Darrin and Sarah Williams; brother, Norman (Betty) Martin; brother-in-law, Lowell (Marolyn) Formo and many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her siblings, Llewellyn Martin and Maxine (Lowell) Formo. Funeral service Wednesday, 11 am, Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, 5929 Brooklyn Blvd. Visitation Tuesday, 5-8 pm, Washburn-McReavy DuSchane Chapel, 4239 W.
