Sally A. Sumner

Sumner Sally A., age 68 of New Brighton, passed away on March 31st, 2003 in her home. She is survived by George L. Sumner, her husband of 49 years; and daughters, Michele Renee Sumner (Robert Sass) of St. Louis, MO, and Judith Anne (Richard) Williams of Santa Barbara, CA. Also survived by her mother, Olga Marie Howard of White Bear Lake; sisters, Arlene Marie Just of St. Paul, and Linda Kay Randers of Mpls; and granddaughters, Rachel Leah Sass and Naylah Kate Williams. Preceded in death by step-father, James S. Howard; and sister, Marian Louise Rousu. She was born in Alexandria, MN on February 6, 1935 and spent most of her life in St. Paul, MN. She will be missed by family and many friends in the Twin Cities and in Green Valley, AZ. She bids a farewell to all her fellow sorority sisters of Beta Sigma Phi Preceptors Pi and Alpha XI. Memorial service Monday, April 7th at 11 AM at Christ the King Lutheran Church of New Brighton, MN. Memorials preferred to Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1900 7th St. NW, New Brighton, MN 55112 and Valley Presbyterian Church, 2800 S. Camino Del Sol, Green Valley, AZ 85614.
